Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) is widely considered to be America s greatest architect. The base for the Usonian I Desk Globe was adapted from one of several furniture designs done in the 1940's by Mr. Wright. It is believed that he was working on designs for either the Usonian homes designed about that time or for his own homes, Taliesin and Taliesin West. The globe itself is made from post consumer reclaimed paper fiber. Based on ottoman design. Solid hardwood base & copper semi meridian. 12" W x 12" D x 18" H
