These new beacons are visually the same as our standard PL-300 beacon, but can be turned on/off by remote control. As an example, the importance of this innovation can be simply explained using any vehicle application. The beacon can now be turned on/off from inside the vehicle. Remote use distance is up to approximately 120 ft. in a visually direct line. Uses 6 AA batteries, not included. For Permanent applications, a 4-1/2V jack is located on the bottom for use with an adapter/transformer. 5" L x 5" W
